Lovely new hotel, staff are brilliant but on short supply. Hotel let down by food, evening meals not worth money and portion sizes are minute. Breakfast was ok but not brilliant

Very good value nothing felt grim or stingy - 73 pounds for a night, nice big room good, new, clean furniture, nice lighting. Staff were very nice too. Felt like a 150 pound room.

We love Premier Inn for the guaranteed Comfy sleep, that is pretty much all we usually ask of them as we tend to eat out in the City they are located in or near. This time we booked a "Premier Plus" room which comes with upgraded WiFi, this however seemed to be a considerab;le ask for the staff who all had different beliefs on the current status of said wifi. In any case it required an individual code every 24 hours and each time a different staff member made it clear we were putting them to some trouble. It's a real pity because this is the first time we have encountered any PTI staff who were less than overjoyed to speak to and help guests. Oh and a tiny tiny issue, this is the first one we've stayed in that did NOT have a bottle opener attached to a wall somewhere, it's not an old one so that was just odd and resulted in us having to purchase one when we could easily have brought one from home if we had known. Hasn't put us off the brand, just not as great as previous.

We stayed for one night 13th dec the staff was fantastic and so helpful to me and my wife. What can I say about the night time they helped me out a lot when I was up all time with our little one when I was sitting in reception all night thank you so much to the night team. Will definitely stay here again. The food was fantastic to and the service

Perfect location and on a bus route so great for exploring the area by car or on foot. Bar and restaurant with reasonable prices or a walk into Pickering. Friendly helpful staff. Proposed parking charges are a disadvantage and could deter us from returning.

Stayed in premier inn at Pickering last Friday. NEVER again. They have hardly any staff, the staff they have are treated like dirt, hardly any food available,what food they had was vile and overpriced and they closed the restaurant early at 8 0 clock despite guests who had booked meals. They just turned them away. Premier inn should be ashamed 😡

Quietest Premier Inn I've ever stayed at. Looks quite new, great room, comfy bed and fabulous breakfast. Will be back when visiting relatives in North Yorkshire.

Staff from hell, ordered food and she dropped all my chicken gougons on the floor didn’t even replace, only good thing was the pretty blonde lass on the bar

Poor. Rooms adequate but service rubbish. Twin room requested but second bed wasn't made up. Was given stained bedding and duvet, had to insist they changed the stained bedding but they weren't happy about it, girl said the sheets are clean it doesn't matter about the duvet. Wouldn't stay again if I could help it.

Used Premier inn's for six years now and been here before but this time put us off forever. Room was as normal but we had mould round the window and in the bathroom. Evening meal was well below average. Staff dressed like they've been dragged through an hedge backwards. Paying to car overnight in Premier Inn own car park that's just not on.

Room nice ,warm, clean, spacious, nice large bathroom with plenty of hot water. Staff very pleasent and helpful... only slight downside evening meal of scamp and chips overcooked and hard ( no complaints after hard day walking on the moors ) would definitely use premier inn at Pickering again

The hotel is located on the edge of Pickering, close to Bangers and Cash, The Mathewsons. We were stopping for the night before the Malton Forest rally. The whole place was nice and clean. Our room was on the second floor clean and tidy.

Rooms good. Location good. They need to employ more staff. At dinner in the restaurant, there was just one young man, taking orders, serving the meals, clearing tables. The food at dinner was just passable. On the menu it said "skin on chips" We were served frozen Mcdonalds style frys. The breakfasts were OK. Queues at the bar weren't, again no staff.

Handy for Pickering town centre about a 5 minute drive away, pricey payable parking which is wrong(should be included in room price or at least a reduced price scheme for staying there) and not the quietest I've stayed at.
